From 8:00 a.m. on July 6, 2026, to 4:00 p.m. on July 15, 2026, we will be performing scheduled maintenance and system updates on the HUN-REN Cloud; service outages are to be expected.

We will be updating the SZTAKI data center branch of HUN-REN Cloud, therefore service interruptions are expected between 8:00 a.m. on August 18, 2025 and 4:00 p.m. on August 25, 2025.

The first HUN-REN Cloud Meetup was held at the HUN-REN Wigner Research Center for Physics, where projects using the research infrastructure were presented along with the development plans for 2025.

The HUN-REN Cloud GPU allocation rules will change from 1 January 2025. The new system aims at more dynamic resource allocation and more efficient utilisation.
