In addition to the voluntary energy-saving initiative, HUN-REN Cloud is introducing further measures to reduce the load on the national electricity grid.

From 8:00 a.m. on July 6, 2026, to 4:00 p.m. on July 15, 2026, we will be performing scheduled maintenance and system updates on the HUN-REN Cloud; service outages are to be expected.

The 2nd HUN-REN Cloud Meetup took place in the ballroom of the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network on November 13, 2025.

We will be updating the SZTAKI data center branch of HUN-REN Cloud, therefore service interruptions are expected between 8:00 a.m. on August 18, 2025 and 4:00 p.m. on August 25, 2025.
