Transition from surface metabolism to vesicles

MCRS and SCM are two robust models of prebiotic evolution which offer plausible mechanisms for the maintenance of prebiotic replicator communities. While MCRS is a scenario of replicators associated to mineral surfaces, SCM consists of competing replicator communities enclosed in vesicles. Our project investigates the non-trivial transition of replicator communities from 2D to 3D environments by extensive computer simulations.
