Monte Carlo neutron transport simulations of the lunar surface

Monte Carlo particle transport simulation studies are performed and analyzed to characterize the albedo neutron environment of the lunar surface. Simulation results will provide input for the development and upcoming lunar missions of the Puli Lunar Water Snooper (PLWS) neutron spectrometer payload instrument. This project is a collaboration between ATOMKI (https://atomki.hu) and Puli Space Technologies (https://pulispace.com).
