Collaboration networks and agglomeration of innovation

Címlapos tartalom

The Agglomeration and Social Networks (ANET) Lendület Research Group aims to understand how social and collaboration networks in cities and regions contribute to economic and technological development. In the ANET-INV project, we generate geo-located co-inventor networks
from publicly available patent data. This network will be used to investigate how local and global
collaboration networks foster spatial concentration of inventors and innovating firms over the life-course of
technologies and how inventor and assignee collaborations influence the process through which regions
diversify their innovation portfolio into new technological fields.
