Kubernetes cluster

Kubernetes (often referred to as 'k8s') is an open-source, container-based application management platform. It can assist developers in automating the deployment, scaling and management of their applications. It was originally developed by Google, and is currently maintained by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. Kubernetes is built upon a cluster spanning multiple hosts, making it ideal for hosting cloud-native applications in public, private or hybrid clouds.
